Tebow CURE is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our ward nurse team. This person is responsible for assisting physicians while providing treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions. He/she will administer medication, monitor and record patient progress, and educate families and the patient as needed.

The ideal candidate will display compassion, education, proficiency, and experience while assisting the patient. This critical role assists in creating and managing nursing care plans and will participate in the evaluation of the current and future medical needs of the patient.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Restores and promotes patient’s health using the nursing process
Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
Provides physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends.
Identifies patient care requirements by establishing rapport with patients and their families.
Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.
Performs quality of care by adhering to the established plan of care and standards.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
Maintains continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions,
Maintains patients’ records in confidentiality.
Adheres to infection control policies and protocols.
Administers medication observing the rights of medication.
Ensures that equipment’s operational, calling for repairs and or preventive maintenance as the need arises.
Maintains nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level.
Maintains an intentional relationship among health care teams by communicating information and participating in team problem-solving methods.
Performs admission assessment and ongoing, focused system assessment, including medical histories.
Participates in and leads in-service training and team unit meetings.
Cross-train on other nursing roles and duties as necessary and willing to be assigned to other areas within the Nursing Department
Perform Charge Nursing.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Education Required: Graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
License Required: License by the Professional Regulatory Board of Nursing, Philippines
Certificates, if any: BLS, ACLS, PALS
Minimum Experience Required: At least a 1-year experience as a Staff Nurse

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Fluent in local dialects such as Bisaya and Tagalog.
Able to communicate well in English, verbal and written.
Able to develop and provide individual patient care according to the established plan of care and standards.
Ability to make independent nursing decisions that meet standards of practice and are in the best interests of the patient.
Able to evaluate patient’s response to teaching, and plan in order to determine the effectiveness of the plan.
Ability to identify and interprets early indicators of the crisis situation and intervene immediately.
Able to support, embrace and live by the CURE core values, mission, and vision.
