Nursing Focus Areas: pediatrics, post surgery care, operating, critical care, infection prevention and control services, and PICU in orthopedics, neuro, and reconstructive surgeries.
Trip Description: CURE has a limited number of opportunities for Registered Nurses to come alongside our medical co-workers to assist with patient care in a Clinical or Educational/Training capacity. Nursing volunteers in an educational capacity can expand upon surgical nursing topics for teaching. In addition, we ask that all volunteers come with an attitude of being a servant and ready to share skills that you have learned from your experience.
Trip Length: 2-6 weeks
Trip Dates: Flexible
Trip Location: All CURE Hospitals
Trip Cost: Plane ticket and in-country expenses (accommodations, meals, travel insurance, etc.) to be covered by the volunteer.
Please Note: All volunteers who are volunteering within a medical capacity are required to be licensed in the country they are visiting. Please allow up to 9 months for application processing, hospital approval, and medical licensing.
