The Receptionist welcomes patients and visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; and answering or referring inquiries. He/she optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone. He/she also does some tasks to support the Administration.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Greet and direct visitors and vendors. 
  2. Receive, open, and distribute mail and sign for deliveries. 
  3. Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing, and announcing them appropriately.
  4. Answering screening and forwarding incoming phone calls
  5. Receiving and sorting daily emails.
  6. Answer phones and forward calls to employees or voice mail, take messages, answer questions, and/or resolve any issues arising from a phone call.  
  7. Respond to inquiries on CURE Philippine's social media accounts
  8. Order, maintain, and distribute office supplies including those requested by other employees.   
  9. Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and other related tasks.
  10. Assist in the appointment and scheduling of patients
  11. Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms, and brochures)
  12. Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
  13. Assist in any way needed to increase the administrative efficiency of the hospital. 
OTHER DUTIES
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality and efficiency in line with hospital quality programs (e.g. Safecare, DOH, etc.) requirements.
  • Ensure a safe and secure work environment by strictly adhering to infection prevention and control protocols such as but not limited to handwashing, wearing of PPE, etc.
  • Commit to sustainable and eco-friendly work practices by minimizing waste, optimizing resource usage, and actively participating in initiatives that promote environmental stewardship.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Minimum Education Required; Bachelor’s degree in Communication or another related field
  2. Minimum Experience Required: Minimum six (6) months to one (1) year experience as a receptionist.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  1. Proficiency in the phone system used by the hospital; 
  2. Working knowledge of office machines including computers and copiers;
  3. Strong oral and written communication skills;
  4. Ability to be flexible with changing demands;
  5. Good organization skills and ability to multi-task.
