POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Construction Projects Coordinator plays a key role in advancing CURE International’s mission by helping deliver high-impact hospital construction and renovation projects around the world. This position supports the successful planning, coordination, and execution of projects that directly enable CURE hospitals to provide life-changing surgical care to children.

Working alongside project engineers, finance teams, and hospital leadership, the Construction Projects Coordinator ensures that projects stay organized, financially aligned, and on track. By maintaining clear project documentation, monitoring budgets and timelines, and providing actionable reporting, this role helps transform strategic construction plans into real-world facilities that serve children and families in need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management Support & Coordination
    Maintain organized project documentation, templates, and file systems to ensure all project materials are accurate, current, and easily accessible.
  • Budget & Cost Tracking
    Track and reconcile project budgets, cost reports, and financial data, collaborating closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure alignment between planned and actual expenditures.
  • Progress Monitoring & Reporting
    Update project schedules, Gantt charts, and dashboards to reflect real-time progress against milestones, providing regular reports that support informed decision-making.
  • Team Coordination
    Coordinate project team meetings, track action items, and communicate follow-up tasks to ensure alignment and accountability across project stakeholders.
  • Data Management & Process Improvement
    Maintain centralized project data and identify opportunities to improve project management processes, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency and project delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of building construction similar project experience.
  • Experience with financial reporting and variance analysis for capital expenditures.
  • Certifications in one or more aspects of project management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project or other project management software (Odoo Project, Asana).
  • Proficient in English: Speech and Written Communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in hospital / healthcare construction is preferred.
