Digital Strategy Manager

CURE is seeking candidates for an exceptional opportunity for a Digital Strategy Manager.  The Digital Strategy Manager ensures that marketing objectives are met on the web and social channels, through digital campaigns including digital advertising, banner ads and creative assets. The Digital Strategy Manager is responsible for creating compelling visual designs for CURE’s websites, e-mail marketing campaigns and social media sites, strengthening the connection between brand expression and an engaged consumer/donor. This role requires strong strategic design insights, as well as hands-on execution in order to deliver exceptional results from digital marketing, while ensuring that all digital media communicates the desired messages and functions successfully for a variety of audiences to support the goals of the organization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Translates research-derived insights and analytics into proven digital marketing strategies, through knowledge of website analytics tools to perform page and website optimization as well as accurate digital trafficking of all online content, promotions and campaigns.
  • Works closely with external marketing agency to plan, create, and execute digital marketing strategies that integrate with offline marketing (print, PR, etc), as well as optimize cross-channel digital marketing campaign programs including, but not limited to, website redesign and implementation, landing pages, email campaigns, social media outreach, and internal company notifications.
  • Collaborates with the marketing and technology teams to post web content using the content management system, works with Content Manager and Communications Manager to update and related properties.
  • Completes design maintenance of all websites, e-mail campaigns and other electronic publications and applications, including social media sites where CURE has a presence.
  • Works with Senior Graphic Designer on design ideas and strategies to ensure consistency in brand.
  • Manages social media presence.
  • Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.

Qualified candidates for this position will possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and minimum 3 to 4 years of experience.
  • Experience with content management software (Wordpress preferred).
  • Demonstrated website design, development, and delivery experience.
  • Expert knowledge of web technology and understanding of HTML programming as it relates to design; fluency in graphic design software including InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.  
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time. Ability to work well independently, and effectively coordinate multiple projects of varying complexity.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to proactively identify opportunities to add value and go beyond what is expected.
  • Proven design style and conceptual skills; ability to provide superior design solutions that translate the organization’s mission into engaging visual messages for digital media
  • Understanding of identity/branding, layout, color theory and typography in digital media. Comprehensive knowledge of design principles, practices and production processes as well as digital file formats. Knowledge of presentation web technologies (CSS, HTML) and web design techniques.
  • Knowledge of how server-side technologies apply to web design.
  • High creative ability with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate. Considered a technical expert, thought leader and consultant in the area of digital design.
  • Ability to create intuitive and engaging design and navigation that follows overall good UX/UI practices to execute a seamless multi-channel experience
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
