CURE is seeking candidates for an exceptional opportunity for a Director of Marketing. The Director of Marketing is responsible for executing on CURE's strategic marketing plans designed to build brand awareness, generate donor support, and maximize donor retention. In addition, the Director of Marketing provides oversight for the multi-channel marketing department that includes communications, affiliate partners and events, creative services and donor support.
Leads the marketing team; provides a performance plan and review for each team member.
Develops and manages the budget for marketing efforts.
Provides direction and oversight to the general donor communications strategy.
Monitors donor support activities and recommends best practices for donor retention.
Manages fundraising projects, identifies quality control issues, and recommends courses of action.
Monitors digital key performance indicators and recommends best practices.
Works closely with advancement team leads to manage marketing priorities as part of the larger advancement initiative.
Works closely with marketing agency on direct mail, digital and new donor acquisition strategies.
Manages the organization's public relations strategy.
Qualified candidates for this position will possess the following:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, or an equivalent amount of work experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a management role within the marketing field.
Previous project management experience.
Previous budget management experience.
Creative thinker with analytical abilities.
Passion for mentoring talented professionals into innovative leaders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
