CURE is seeking candidates for an exceptional opportunity for a Donor Support and Fulfillment Associate. The Donor Support and Fulfillment Associate is responsible for maintaining excellent donor relations through gift processing, customer service, and follow up and fulfillment of material needs to donors after marketing campaigns. This position ensures that all financial gifts to CURE International are documented, gratitude is expressed to the donor, and CURE’s donor database is kept updated, while also proactively working to minimize churn of donors and to reactivate lapsed donors.
Process and deposit checks and cash received according to organizational policies.
Process and record donations according to organizational policies. Acknowledge and receipt via letter all check; cash; and short-term mission donations (when received via check or cash).
Manage the database by entering new constituents, proofing/updating existing constituent data, generating customized new/recurring reports, entering copies of donor proposals/correspondence/other media, and documenting reporting requirements from donor entities.
Provide customer service/donor relations support including handling phone calls and emails from donors on gift processing, and troubleshooting solutions if issues such as, but not limited to, the following arise:
Follow-up with donors regarding failed credit card transactions.
Update/change credit card information for constituents.
Prepare contact lists and initiate processing for donor mailings and acknowledgement letters.
Proactively work to minimize churn of donors and to reactivate lapsed donors by implementing a strategy directed by the Senior Director of Marketing.
Under supervision of the Senior Director of Marketing, manage fulfillment process by ordering, packaging, and mailing marketing campaign acknowledgement gifts and maintaining accurate donor records of fulfillment.
Manage the promotional inventory in the warehouse and CURE store, and fulfill internal and external promotional material orders.
Participate in the phone group that provides coverage for reception duties.
Attend, and contribute in, marketing team and other staff meetings.
Qualified candidates for this position will possess the following:
Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in donor relations or customer service related field.
Proficiency in word processing, basic spreadsheet and database management applications.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to engage with donors, via email, phone or other, to provide excellent customer service.
Attention to detail, care with donor information and presentation of materials.
In addition, all candidates should be familiar with the Statement of Faith, and will be required to agree with the declarations of the Statement of Faith in order to be considered for this position.
