CURE has an exceptional opportunity for a Media Intern (Fall 2018). This position represents a unique opportunity for students to gain practical work experience and increase their understanding of relevant issues related to their field of studies. The Media Intern assist with organizing and logging photo and video assets, and inventorying equipment for the organization. This position is a critical need as the organization seeks to create a reliable historical archive and a sustainable asset management system going forward.
This internship is unpaid, and can be either part-time or full-time. The timeframe for the internship is Fall 2018 (approximately September 2018 - December 2018). CURE will support college credit, upon request.
Assist with multimedia archiving, scanning photos, importing VHS video, and organization of media.
Assist with equipment inventory and organization.
Transcribe interviews and add closed captioning on videos.
