As CURE Children’s Hospital of Zimbabwe continues to expand its impact, we are seeking a dedicated professional to join our growing team. The incumbent will be responsible for efficiently managing patient assessments, executing clinical instructions, and evaluating care to ensure the highest levels of patient safety and service.
Main Responsibilities:

To provide total individualised and comprehensive nursing care to patients according to the nursing and doctors' plans.
To perform nursing procedures and treatment of patients competently and professionally.
Application and removal of plaster of paris in the absence of the physiotherapist.
Plans and implements the Nursing initial and continuous assessments for patients, applying the holistic approach using the nursing process.
Ensure a clean therapeutic environment for the patients placed under your care.
Acts as a professional role model at all times, upholding the standards and Ethics of the profession.
Promotes good Team spirit, good interpersonal and interdepartmental relationships, and personnel cooperation.
Implements laid-down policies and follows procedures.
Provides treatment and administers medicines to patients and documents accurately, according to the regulations of the hospital.

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma in Nursing
Post Basic in the following disciplines: ICCN, AON, Anaesthesia, and Nutrition.
Previous minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing practice in a pediatric surgical ward unit post-training.
Valid Practicing certificate.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Excellent verbal and written communication.
